The list
A name on the list
The list is the room's queue for a seat at a given game. A player gets on it through the Poker Atlas app or by calling the room at 519-757-3306. This guide keeps no list and cannot add anyone to one. Once on the list, a player has 90 minutes to check in at the room; after that, the name is removed automatically.
Beside this section, a planner keeps track of that 90-minute window after the call. At the table, one more rule applies. A player who has missed two big blinds loses the seat if there is a waiting list for that game. A big blind is a forced bet posted before the cards are dealt.

Stakes and rake
Stakes and the rake
Rake is the house's share of each pot. Limit Hold'em runs at 4/8, 10/20 and 20/40, with a 10% rake up to a maximum of $10. No Limit and higher-limit poker carry a 10% rake up to a maximum of $15. No flop, no rake: a hand that ends before the flop, the first three shared cards, pays no rake. After the flop, the rake is at least $2.
The room also has two Bad Beat Jackpots. One is local to Brantford; the other is shared with Pickering Casino Resort, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and Elements Casino Mohawk. Both apply to Limit and No Limit Hold'em cash games. Once a pot reaches $20 including the rake, $1 to $5 is taken from it for the jackpots.

At the table
Manners at the table
A player holding a live hand, meaning cards still in play, may not use a phone, smart watch or any other electronic device.
Photos, video, audio recordings and messages about live play are not allowed unless management authorizes them.
While a hand is live, the players in it speak English, loud enough for the dealer to hear, until the pot is awarded.
Verbal statements are binding, even out of turn, and side wagers are not permitted.
Between hands
Meal breaks and food
A meal break is a set pause from the game, and it lasts 45 minutes. A player may take at most $25 from their stack for it; the floor supervisor has the details.
Pizza and poutine come from the Bar and Grill, which keeps a pub menu. The Getaway handles a quick bite at lunch or a full dinner, while the Grab-and-Go counter sells snacks, drinks and its own sandwiches. Only one dining room posts a dinner sitting, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; the rest keep unpublished hours.
Non-alcoholic drinks on the gaming floor are complimentary around the clock, and the selection can vary. Before you ask: no drinks go on the poker table, and food is eaten at the bar or in designated dining areas.

The floor
The rest of the floor
Away from the poker room, the floor holds 550+ slot machines and electronic table games and 34 live table games. Slots run from penny wagers up to high limits, and a sportsbook kiosk takes sports bets. Live table games run Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. Craps runs every day from noon to midnight. Posted low-limit tables start at $5, and minimums follow demand on the day.
The casino opened in 1999 as Brantford Charity Casino. It took the name Elements Casino Brantford on May 1, 2018, when Great Canadian took over its operation.

Arriving
Arriving on Icomm Drive

The address for the car is 40 Icomm Drive, Brantford, ON N3S 7S9, with complimentary parking. Before you ask about age: the door is 19+, and Great Canadian asks for ID from anyone who looks younger than 30. A guest under 19 cannot wait in a restaurant on the gaming floor either, even beside a parent.
Service animals may enter public areas, guests may use their own assistive devices, and support persons are admitted, subject to the age rule. Questions before the drive go to 519-752-5004.
Online in Ontario
Online casinos in Ontario
Online play in Ontario has run as a regulated market since April 4, 2022, with iGaming Ontario conducting and managing it and the AGCO as regulator. For a private online casino to be legal here, it needs both AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. The list of sites that qualify sits at igamingontario.ca, while OLG.ca belongs to OLG, the provincial agency.
Online casino play is 19+, and a player must be physically located in Ontario to play on a regulated site. On the home page, this guide carries three paid links marked Ad. All three lead to one private online casino partner that is not OLG.ca, pays the guide a commission and can change.
